Cris Edward Perez (Ed), LVN
Director of Nursing
Ed started in the medical field in 2006 as an EMT at City College of San Francisco, where he learned how to help people in distress and to mitigate emergency situations. In 2008, recognizing his affinity for healthcare, Ed decided to switch roles and entered the Nursing field. He began his training at NCP College of Nursing in 2008 and attended clinical rotations throughout the Bay Area, including Seton Coast Side, San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living, San Francisco Health care and Rehab and SF General Hospital to name a few. In 2016, Ed turned his attention toward those with severe substance use and co-occurring disorders, particularly those in need of detoxification, and became employed as a nurse at Bayside Marin. In 2017, as Ed demonstrated exceptional competence, commitment and empathy, he was promoted to Charge Nurse. Then in September 2018, Ed accepted the role of Interim DON and on November 1st officially became Director of Nursing.
