Brady Kauk, MFT Trainee

Therapist

Brady graduated from William Jessup University with his Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology degree in 2023, and is pursuing his Marriage and Family Therapy license. Living in freedom and wisdom requires self-kindness, persistence, and sobriety. Brady’s focus is to increase his client’s ability to live well by listening actively, hearing with compassion, and setting goals together. At Bayside he seeks to provide all clients the opportunity to practice sobriety through kindness towards self, negative thought replacement, mindfulness and grounding, and service towards others.

Humans are made to connect with others deeply, but doing so in our time grows increasingly difficult. Substance Use makes connection more difficult. Have you asked yourself the following questions? “What is my place in my community? Who knows me deeply?” Brady is excited to explore these questions with residents at Bayside. In his work Brady draws from person centered therapy, DBT, emotion focused therapy, and mindfulness skills.

Brady lives in San Francisco with his wife and daughter. He enjoys backpacking, playing soccer and a sunny beach day in Santa Cruz. He is a lifelong learner and believes everyone is a philosopher at heart.
