Recovery Choice Alumni Outreach Program

Recovery Choice Alumni Outreach Program Helps You Stay Connected

As you prepare to leave Bayside Marin, you’ll probably be saying goodbye to people who have been an important part of your treatment experience. But please know that discharge is handly the end of your relationship with Bayside Marin, and we will be there to encourage your success in recovery long after your time with us comes to a close. As a program alumni, you’ll have access to continued support from our treatment community, including:

  • FREE aftercare support for one year
  • Regular contact from a Recovery Choice coordinator
  • Help finding additional resources if needed (e.g. 12-step or other support groups in your area)

How it Works

During the first year after you leave Bayside Marin, you will receive a check-in phone call every two weeks. We’ll ask you how you’re doing, if you need help locating resources, and if there’s been any relapses, etc. so we can connect you with the services you need to stay on track.

During this time, we’ll also send you check-in emails to help you find local recovery resources, share facility news and events, remind you to use our app, and more.

Helping Us Help Others

By staying in touch and giving us important feedback about your treatment experience, you help us strengthen our programming and increase success rates. At your time of discharge, we’ll ask you a set of core questions about your treatment experience, and we’ll be checking in to monitor your recovery after 30, 90, 180, 270 and 360 days.

This confidential data is used to create meaningful outcome studies that measure and demonstrate the effectiveness of our services and improve our quality of care. We use this insight to ensure our clients always have access to treatment, and to strengthen the capabilities of the behavioral health workforce.
